Ports of Auckland Round the Bays
The iconic fun run along Auckland’s waterfront is New Zealand’s largest mass participation sporting event, attracting more than 26,000 participants annually. The 2020 event was held on March 8th with more than 34,000 people getting involved in the country's biggest fun run.
Subaru of New Zealand's Marketing Manager Daile Stephens says there are obvious synergies between this event and Subaru.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with one of the world's largest fun runs. The spirit of Subaru is ‘do’ and it summarises our desire to see Kiwi families get out and enjoy all the adventures our country has to offer, enabled by our All-Wheel Drive vehicles. We see the Ports of Auckland Round the Bays as a fun, family-friendly event for people to get involved in and to train for in the New Year. Whether you’re new to running or returning to exercise, looking to improve on your current running capability, or want to get your kids more active, this event is ideal for runners or walkers of all abilities. The appeal of the event is how accessible it is, and it encourages everyone to be active, regardless of their level of fitness,” Mrs Stephens says.
