Subaru BRZ will be available only in the top of the range tS specification - the performance-honed variant.

Subaru of New Zealand are excited to announce that limited numbers of the BRZ, the sporty, driver’s car is making a comeback and are available to pre-order now.

Available only in the top of the range tS specification, the performance-honed variant, BRZ tS will be for sale in New Zealand in April 2025 and only 10 vehicles are arriving.

Priced at $59,990 RRP1, the all-new tS offers the best performance and handling capability in a BRZ ever. It features STI tuned front and rear suspension dampers to maximise its light weight, ultra-low centre of gravity and precision handling. Whilst high performance Brembo brakes, including gold painted 4-piston front callipers and 2-piston rear callipers, larger pads and rotors enhance stopping power and pedal feel. The BRZ tS also sports bespoke 18-inch dark grey metallic alloy wheels, with 215/40 R18 Michelin Pilot 4 tyres providing superior grip.

The top-of-the-line tS model will be available exclusively in WR Blue and comes with a 6-speed manual transmission for New Zealand customers.

General Manager of Subaru New Zealand Tim Barns-Lawton says: "The BRZ has historically been hailed as a driver's car thanks to its superb engineering. We welcome BRZ back to New Zealand and are excited to be bringing in the top-of-the-range tS model for Kiwi drivers wanting to experience the best performing and handling BRZ of all time!"

External styling features include front and rear tS badging and a seamlessly integrated red BRZ logo in the front headlights. Additionally, crystal black silica door mirrors and the shark fin antenna accentuate the sleek profile.

Inside the BRZ tS, Bordeaux and black Ultrasuede® and leather accented interior, complete with STI embossed front seats, provides a luxurious and comfortable driving experience. The cabin also features an STI red push start button and an exclusive instrument cluster bearing the STI logo and Bordeaux highlights, adding to the model's one-of-a-kind identity.

In a nod to the exclusivity of the 10 New Zealand-bound tS models, each vehicle will have a numbered, presentation key box, similar to the WRX special editions.

Part of Subaru Corporation's engineering excellence is their pursuit of zero fatal accidents in a Subaru by 20302, and the next step in that journey is the introduction of the innovative Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist technology in the manual transmission BRZ models. This upgrade marks a significant milestone in Subaru's unwavering commitment to safety.

Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist will add key safety and convenience features to manual transmission BRZ including, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Sway Warning, Lead Vehicle Start Alert, Pre-Collision Braking System, Pre-Collision Brake Assist and Brake Light Recognition.

Mr Barns-Lawton adds: "The addition of EyeSight® Driver Assist technology into manual transmission variants enhances the BRZ range. Not only does this offer more specification for customers, but also reaffirms Subaru's continuous commitment to prioritising vehicle safety."

The Subaru BRZ is available now for pre-order via subaru.co.nz/brz or your local Authorised Subaru Centre.
