We’re taking electric to places it’s never been able to reach before, with the all-electric, All-Wheel Drive Subaru Solterra arriving in New Zealand in December.
Our future focus has been on durability, better tech and more space. Sitting roughly size-wise between a Forester and Outback, Solterra is spacious enough for family-sized adventures and powerful enough to take on the most remotely beautiful corners of Subaru country.
There are two Solterra variants available, which start at RRP $79,990* but with pre-orders already filling up fast, now’s the time to make sure you have a Solterra secured because initial stock of both will be limited.
The Solterra will have an RRP of $79,990* and the Solterra Touring will be RRP $84,990*. There’s also a two-tone exterior colour option for the Solterra Touring for RRP $85,990*.
The Subaru Solterra will have two electric motors producing 160kW. The Solterra will have an expected range of up to 485km (NEDC)* which is based on EU specification and NZ specification will be confirmed closer to the Solterra launch. But like a petrol car – the exact range depends on road and usage variables.
