Subaru are celebrating 30 years of WRX with a new special edition model, the Todoroki, which is roaring into New Zealand in November, making its commanding presence felt.
The Japanese kanji symbol 轟 for ‘Todoroki’ means ‘roar’ but also translates to ‘well-known’ or ‘famous’ which all adds up to this WRX exuding some serious x-factor. Subaru’s limited edition WRX Todoroki certainly stands out with its stunning WR Blue hue - this exclusive performance car was created to be noticed.
The Subaru WRX symbolises power and recognition. Its signature Boxer engine’s rumble echoes the kanji’s meaning of a thunderous roar, while its global presence cements it as a well-known icon in the automotive world.
Priced at $64,990 RRP*, only ten of these charismatic special editions will ever reach New Zealand and will be available in sedan only, with six-speed manual transmission. These ten vehicles will be available exclusively in the colour WR Blue.

Subaru Corporation have taken the base model WRX, with a six-speed manual transmission (which is not available in New Zealand), and created the WRX Todoroki, with the following enhancements:

- Presentation key box highlighting the rarity of this Todoroki model (e.g. 1/10, 2/10)
