The next generation Subaru WRX is available in the iconic sedan, or new to the WRX line-up is the GT wagon for the ultimate in sophistication and practicality. 

Featuring the same 2.4L Turbocharged Boxer engine, the WRX 2.4T sedan or WRX GT wagon are available in either Premium or tS variants. With a 5-star ANCAP safety rating and 8 airbags, 11.6" tablet like touch screen with satellite navigation and our driver monitoring system with facial recognition, the highly spec'd models have performance and luxury in spades. 

The GT wagon features a rear powered tailgate with handsfree sensor for easy access to the large wagon bootspace with an abundance of practicality. 

Consistent across the Subaru WRX range is the famous Subaru Boxer engine that has been designed to sit lower and flatter in the engine bay than upright engines. Due to this unique design it delivers less noise and vibration to the cabin, while the lowered centre of gravity improves stability, cornering and traction with the road. Coupled with the Subaru WRX’s symmetrical drivetrain, this configuration delivers superior handling confidence, better balance, smoothness and ultimately, outstanding driver enjoyment.

The all-new next generation WRX features a 2.4L Turbocharged Boxer engine, delivering 270 horsepower and 350Nm of torque at 2000-5200rpm, the optimum band providing thrilling sports performance and driveability.

Sports Performance Transmission 
The Subaru Performance Transmission is a newly developed Sport Lineartronic gearbox with a variable torque distribution center differential and sports shifting control delivering 30% faster upshifts and 50% faster downshifts, utilising adaptive shift control to perform rev-matching downshifts when braking.

Adaptive shift control maintains the ideal ratio when cornering and helps aid faster exits on corners. Ratio revisions to the lower gears improve acceleration while the total ratio coverage have also been expanded.

The Subaru Performance Transmission offers automatic downshift blipping control for engaging performance and an 8-speed manual mode with advanced shift logic taking WRX to a whole new level. Models equipped with the Subaru Performance Transmission are also paired with a revised SI-Drive system further enhancing the driving experience. (Available on Subaru WRX 2.4T Premium, WRX 2.4T tS, WRX GT Premium and WRX GT tS). 

Available in the tS models, Drive Model Select makes your WRX, yours. With a range of customisable aspects to the driving experience, it gives you total control of your WRX and its drive characteristics. 

This new features enables you to set up the steering feel, throttle responsiveness, electronic control dampers and other key functions for a personalised driving experience.
